A threat actor has alleged that they breached the official Indonesian government platform, LAPOR! (Layanan Aspirasi dan Pengaduan Online Rakyat), on August 20, 2024. The platform, used by citizens to submit complaints and feedback about public services, reportedly had its user database compromised. The breach is claimed to involve over 400,000 user records, including sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, emails, and login details.
The actor behind this claim, SILKFIN AGENCY, shared details about the compromised data, which includes last_ip, KeyToken, email, password, username and more. Although the validity of this claim has not been independently verified, it raises serious concerns about the security of government platforms and the privacy of users’ data.
