A threat actor claims to have breached and is selling data from the Agency for Electronic Government and Information and Communication Technologies (AGETIC) of Bolivia. AGETIC is the government entity responsible for implementing e-government initiatives and managing information and communication technology policies for the nation.
The actor posted the database for sale on a dark web forum, citing dissatisfaction with the agency’s transparency and practices as a motive for the attack.
The actor is attempting to sell the allegedly stolen data, which totals 35.6 GB. According to the actor, the compromised data includes:
- Confidential information
- Private documents
- Internal projects
- Capture The Flag (CTF) event data
- Hall of Fame records
- Workshop materials
- Internal and external audit reports
