The Akira ransomware group claims to have breached several new organizations, posting their details on its dark web leak site. The group asserts that it has successfully exfiltrated a significant volume of sensitive data from these companies and is threatening to release it.
The latest list of alleged victims posted by the group includes:
- Cerenade Technology (🇺🇸): A US-based provider of cloud-based software solutions for immigration law firms, government agencies, and legal professionals.
- Harbor Diesel & Equipment (🇺🇸): A Southern California-based distributor and dealer for heavy-duty engines and industrial equipment.
- J. Lorber Company (🇺🇸): A supplier specializing in a wide range of plumbing, HVAC, and hydronics products in the United States.
According to the actor, the compromised data across the various victims includes a wide range of sensitive personal and corporate information. The allegedly exfiltrated data includes:
- Scanned personal documents (passports, visas, driver’s licenses)
- Customer information (addresses, credit card details)
- Employee information (names, dates of birth)
- Detailed financial and accounting files
- Corporate documents (contracts, agreements, projects, NDAs)
- Tax forms (W9)
