A substantial database, allegedly containing 62 million records of Chinese Apple iOS users, has reportedly been leaked. The data, said to have been collected from mobile phone applications, was made public in February 2025.
The compromised information allegedly includes sensitive details such as Name, ID card number, Gender, Birthday Year, Birthday, Mobile phone number, Operator, Province, and City. Samples provided indicate a wide range of personal identifiers from various regions across China and different mobile operators.
This alleged leak poses a significant privacy risk to the affected individuals, potentially exposing them to identity theft, phishing attempts, and other malicious activities. The source of the leak and the veracity of the claims are currently under investigation.
