BreachForums’ website on the clearnet is presently offline and has been inaccessible for an extended duration.
Regarding the recent suspension of the BreachForums domain, Baphomet, the administrator of the platform, has issued a statement addressing the situation. Baphomet announced a temporary domain, breachforums[.]st, after the suspension of the previous domain (.cx).
According to the administrator, there has been no seizure, hacking, or significant attack on the platform. Baphomet emphasized recent Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protections implemented to ensure continuous availability of the Tor site.
The statement also shares discontent with groups attempting to take credit for the domain suspension. Baphomet assured users that efforts are underway to resolve the issue and advised accessing BreachForums via TOR in the meantime.
Meanwhile, R00TK1T, in collaboration with the CyberArmyofRussia, has claimed responsibility for initiating a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) assault on BreachForums. They have further announced intentions to unveil a list containing the IP and email addresses of the forum’s users.
BreachForums is known as a platform for discussions related to cybersecurity breaches and data leaks, attracting attention from various online communities. The temporary domain announcement aims to maintain uninterrupted access to the platform amid ongoing developments.
