A threat actor claims to have breached and leaked the database of Brunei’s Postal Services Department (Malay: Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pos). The department is a government entity responsible for providing postal services throughout Brunei.
The actor posted the database, containing 1.5 million records related to logistics and tracking, for download on a public forum.
According to the actor, the allegedly compromised data includes:
- Sender names
- Sender addresses
- Sender phone numbers
- Sender postal codes
- Recipient names
- Recipient addresses
- Recipient phone numbers
- Recipient postal codes
- Mail item details (weight, value, etc.)
- Tracking and logistics information
