A recent post on a dark web forum alleges that the personal data of 180,000 users from Club Vélez Sarsfield, a prominent Argentine football club, has been compromised. The alleged breach spans data from 2010 to 2024, with a threat actor claiming to have access to sensitive information, including names, telephone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, and 26,000 facial photos.
The threat actor is offering the data for sale at a price of $60 and has provided a sample for download to verify the contents of the leak. The authenticity of these claims has not yet been independently verified, and the club has not released any official statement regarding the alleged breach.
