A threat actor claims to have breached the Servicio de Registro Civil e Identificación (SRCEI), which manages the National Register of Motor Vehicles of Chile. SRCEI is the Chilean government agency responsible for maintaining vital civil records for the nation, including personal identification and vehicle registrations.
According to the actor, the compromised database contains over 9.2 million records. The allegedly exfiltrated data includes a vast amount of sensitive personal and vehicle information.
The compromised data reportedly includes:
- Full names
- Full addresses
- Mobile and home phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Gender
- National identification numbers (RUT)
- Vehicle details (make, model, type, year, color)
- Vehicle identification numbers (VIN)
- Engine numbers
- License plate numbers
- Vehicle registration dates
