Dragonforce Ransomware Breaches Yelete Group and Empire Express

The Dragonforce ransomware group has claimed responsibility for breaching two new victims in the United States. The group, known for double-extortion tactics, posted the companies on their leak site, threatening to release substantial amounts of stolen data. The latest list of alleged victims posted by the group includes:

  • Yelete Group Inc (πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ): A wholesale activewear, apparel, and lingerie company based in Commerce, California. The company specializes in supplying retailers with a wide range of clothing products.

  • Empire Express (πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ): A trucking transportation service provider based in Memphis, Tennessee. They offer transport services for various sectors including clothing, air cargo, and electronics.

According to the actor, a significant amount of data was exfiltrated from both organizations. The allegedly compromised data includes:

  • 33.17 GB of data from Yelete Group Inc

  • 93.74 GB of data from Empire Express

  • Internal company documents and records
