Software intelligence giant Dynatrace has been added to the growing list of companies affected by the recent security incident involving third-party vendors Salesloft and Drift. The company, a key player in application performance management and cloud infrastructure monitoring, confirmed that some of its customer data was allegedly exposed. Headquartered in both the US and Austria, Dynatrace provides critical services to businesses worldwide, making this incident a significant concern for its global client base.

The breach originated from a sophisticated cyberattack targeting Salesloft’s Drift application, which in turn compromised the data of numerous companies utilizing the platform for sales and marketing automation. Dynatrace’s investigation, assisted by third-party cybersecurity experts, revealed that the unauthorized access was limited to their Salesforce CRM environment. The company has assured its customers that no core Dynatrace products, services, or sensitive customer data stored within its platform were affected by the incident.
According to the ongoing investigation, the compromised data is limited to business contact information. The following data was allegedly exposed:
- First and Last Names of Customer Contacts
- Company Identifiers
Dynatrace has since disabled the problematic integrations and is actively monitoring the situation. They are urging customers to be vigilant against potential phishing and social engineering attempts that may arise from this data exposure.
