A threat actor claims to have breached the Electoral Court of Uruguay, the governmental body responsible for managing all electoral acts and procedures in the country. The actor is attempting to sell the database on a dark web forum, alleging that the information was exfiltrated in September 2025 and is being offered for $2,000.
According to the actor, the breach involves over 622,000 records containing a vast amount of sensitive information. The allegedly exfiltrated data includes full names, documents, telephone numbers, email addresses, occupations, ID photos, civic credential details, fine information, sworn statements, birth certificates, university titles, and passport photos.
