The Everest Ransomware Group, a Russian-linked extortion gang, has claimed responsibility for compromising several major international companies. The group, known for its data breach and extortion operations, has updated its data leak site with new entries.
The latest list of alleged victims posted by the group includes:
- Agfa-Gevaert N.V. (🇧🇪): A Belgian-German multinational corporation specializing in digital imaging products and IT solutions for the printing and healthcare industries.
- SIAD S.p.A. (🇮🇹): A leading Italian chemical group that operates in the industrial gases, engineering, healthcare, and natural gas sectors.
According to the threat actor, the compromised data includes:
- A 354 GB database from Agfa-Gevaert N.V.
- A 159 GB database from SIAD S.p.A.
The group has set a countdown timer for the companies to make contact, threatening to leak the data if their demands are not met.
