A recent post on a notorious dark web forum has raised allegations of a data breach involving Giordano, a well-known fashion and retail brand with a significant presence in the Middle East. The post claims to be selling sensitive information obtained from the company’s database.
According to the post, the Orders.csv file contains 239,000 rows of data, which supposedly include critical details such as order codes, payment information, and customer identifiers. The MobilePhone.csv file, on the other hand, is said to include 116,000 rows of mobile phone data, featuring personal identifiers like phone numbers and country codes.
The threat actor shared a brief preview of the compromised data in the forum post.
According to the post, the alleged database is for sale. The threat actor is accepting only Monero (XMR), a privacy-focused cryptocurrency commonly used in illicit transactions.
