Hacktivist Group GlorySec Targets Venezuelan Websites

In a move against the Venezuelan government and its support for socialism under President Maduro, the hacktivist group GlorySec has announced the seizure of over 50 Venezuelan websites. This operation, dubbed #OPVenezuela, aims to disrupt sites allegedly containing harmful content and propaganda supporting the Maduro regime.

Allegedly, GlorySec has taken down websites containing content they claim to be CP, gore, zoophilia, and other materials supporting socialism. They also announced that they have seized Venezuelan TP-Link devices and more, marking a significant escalation in their cyber campaign.

The websites targeted in this operation include a range of businesses and services across Venezuela. According to GlorySec, all these sites are now offline due to their intervention. Here is the comprehensive list of the affected sites:

GlorySec claims that this operation is a lawful act aimed at liberating the Venezuelan people from the current government’s oppressive policies. They believe that by disrupting these sites, they are striking a blow against the regime’s infrastructure and spreading awareness of the ongoing struggles within Venezuela. As part of their ongoing efforts, GlorySec has given these websites 48 hours to respond or face the public dissemination of the data recovered
