A threat actor has allegedly leaked the database of Humanists.org, an international organization dedicated to promoting the values of humanism and described as the Humanist Community in Silicon Valley. The database, which was posted on a popular hacking forum, allegedly contains 75,693 unique records belonging to the organization’s members. Humanists.org serves as a significant platform for a school of thought that emphasizes human potential and experience in understanding the world, connecting individuals globally.
The compromised data appears to be extensive, exposing a wide range of personally identifiable information (PII). The leak could potentially expose members to various online threats, including targeted phishing campaigns, identity theft, and spam. The nature of the organization could also mean that the public exposure of its members’ data is particularly sensitive.
The allegedly leaked data includes the following information:
- Full Names
- Professional Affiliations and Titles
