The login credentials for a teacher at the Karachi American School (KAS) have been allegedly leaked on a public forum, creating a significant data privacy concern. Karachi American School, founded in 1953, is a major international educational institution in Pakistan, serving a diverse community of local and expatriate students. The leaked data consists of an email and password pair that provides direct access to the school’s “PlusPortals” online management system, a platform used for daily school operations and communication.

The leaked credentials have allegedly been verified and grant unauthorized access to the teacher’s personal dashboard within the portal. This access exposes sensitive school and student information, including the teacher’s full name, detailed class schedules with meeting times, student counts for each class, and a calendar of upcoming school events. Furthermore, the portal contains sections for school-wide announcements and links to educational materials. This incident represents a serious breach of privacy, potentially compromising the personal and academic information of both staff and students at the institution.
