KillSec Allegedly Breaches Laxmi Capital, Demands €10,000 Ransom

The hacking group KillSec has allegedly breached Laxmi Capital, a prominent financial institution in Nepal. The group claims to have obtained sensitive assets from the company’s backend, including source code, databases, SSL certificates, and other critical data.

Details of the Breach:
KillSec has announced that it has successfully infiltrated Laxmi Capital’s backend systems, compromising crucial data integral to the institution’s operations. The stolen assets purportedly include source code, databases, SSL certificates, and additional unspecified data.

Ransom Demand:
The group is demanding a ransom of €10,000 for the return of the compromised data. They have not disclosed what actions they will take if the ransom is not paid.

KillSec’s Statement:
In their announcement, KillSec provided a link to Laxmi Capital’s website, indicating that it had been seized as part of the breach. The group has not specified any further demands or conditions aside from the ransom.
