Location Peintures Prestations (LPP), Saelen/Heizomat, and Surtel Technologies Added to The Gentlemen Ransomware’s Victim List

The ransomware group known as “The Gentlemen” has allegedly added three new victims to its list of successful breaches. The group, known for its cyber-extortion activities, claims to have infiltrated the networks of two French industrial companies and an Indian IT services provider, signaling a continued threat to diverse business sectors across the globe.

The victims of this multi-pronged attack allegedly include:

  • 🇫🇷 LOCATION PEINTURES PRESTATIONS (LPP): A French company established in 1991. Initially focused on anti-corrosion painting, LPP is a key supplier in the construction sector, specializing in the design, manufacture, and distribution of safety and formwork equipment for major BTP (construction and public works) groups in France.
  • 🇫🇷 Saelen/Heizomat: A French supplier expert in machinery for green space maintenance and a provider of renewable energy solutions through its Heizomat France division, which focuses on the biomass energy sector.
  • 🇮🇳 Surtel Technologies Pvt: A global IT services company based in India. Surtel provides management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing solutions, helping clients to improve operational performance and grow their businesses by implementing new technologies.

At this time, the ransomware group has not publicly detailed the specific types or volume of data that were allegedly exfiltrated from the compromised companies. The incident highlights the indiscriminate nature of ransomware attacks, impacting a wide range of industries from construction and energy to information technology.
