LulzSec Black and Moroccan Soldiers Launch Major Attacks on Turkish Infrastructure

In a recent wave of cyber attacks, it is alleged that the hacker group LulzSec Black, in collaboration with Moroccan Soldiers, has successfully targeted several high-profile Turkish institutions. These attacks are reportedly in response to Turkey’s actions against Syrians, as stated by the purported hacking groups.

Major Targets

Sabiha Gökçen International Airport

The official website of Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, one of Istanbul’s key aviation hubs, allegedly has been disabled by LulzSec Black. This attack marks a significant disruption in the airport’s operations, affecting thousands of passengers and the airline industry.

Turkish Universities

Several Turkish universities have also fallen victim to these cyber attacks. The targeted institutions include:

  1. Selçuk University: Located in Konya, it is one of the largest universities in Turkey.
  2. Yıldız Technical University: Situated in Istanbul, this technical university is renowned for its engineering programs.
  3. İzmir University of Economics: A private university based in İzmir, known for its focus on economics and business studies.
  4. Süleyman Demirel University: Located in Isparta, this university is a significant educational institution in the region.

These attacks have disrupted the educational activities of thousands of students and faculty members, causing significant inconvenience and data security concerns.

Future Threats and Announcements

The Moroccan Soldiers group has allegedly announced that they have successfully hacked several other Turkish websites and plan to reveal the details within the next 24 hours. They have issued a stern warning, threatening to strike Turkey’s infrastructure and leak sensitive data from various organizations, regardless of size or significance.

The groups have explicitly stated, “The game is over for Türkiye… We will no longer show mercy, will not ask about anyone big or small. We will leak everyone’s data.” This declaration indicates their intention to continue and escalate their cyber campaign against Turkey.

Latest Target: ODAS

Among the recent targets, ODAS, a prominent Turkish company, has been compromised. Details of the attack and the extent of the data breach have not yet been fully disclosed.

The cyber attacks by LulzSec Black and Moroccan Soldiers represent a severe escalation in the ongoing digital conflict involving Turkey. The targeting of key institutions such as universities and an international airport underscores the groups’ capabilities and intent to cause widespread disruption.
