A threat actor has allegedly leaked 28 GB of sensitive data belonging to D. Visser & Zonen BV, a prominent flower exporter based in Aalsmeer, Netherlands. The company, a family-run business with a history dating back to 1875, is a significant player in the global floriculture market, exporting flowers and plants to over 15 countries worldwide. The data has been put up for sale on a dark web forum, with the actor claiming to have been ignored when attempting to contact the company to report a vulnerability.
The threat actor claims the stolen data is a copy of files from the company’s corporate network. Screenshots posted as proof of the breach reveal a wide range of highly sensitive information, suggesting a significant compromise of the company’s internal systems. The data allegedly for sale includes approximately 24 GB of emails, alongside internal files, financial reports, and customer data.
Based on the provided samples, the compromised information allegedly includes:
- Internal spreadsheets containing employee and partner personal details, including names, dates of birth, and Dutch Citizen Service Numbers (BSN).
- Financial documents, including accounting records, bank statements, and payment applications from institutions like Lloyds TSB, DNB, and Rabobank.
- Corporate documents, such as pledge agreements and financial write-offs.
- Logistics and shipping documents, including air waybills and phytosanitary certificates for international exports.
