A post dated July 21, 2025, on the cybercriminal group’s dark web leak site, claims a significant data breach, threatening to release a “Full data leak” from the company’s servers. The group has set a countdown timer on their post, adding pressure to the renowned PC builder.
iBUYPOWER, based in California, has been a cornerstone of the PC gaming community since 1999. The company is celebrated for building high-performance custom gaming systems for a wide range of customers, from professional esports players and game developers to everyday consumers. Its long-standing partnerships with tech giants such as Intel, NVIDIA, AMD, and Microsoft have solidified its reputation as a key player in the PC gaming industry. The attackers noted the company’s substantial income, which they allege to be $540,000,000, underscoring the high-value nature of the target.
