A threat actor has allegedly offered for sale a significant database belonging to the Hospital Civil de Guadalajara, a major public healthcare institution in Jalisco, Mexico. The hospital is a cornerstone of the region’s healthcare system, providing critical medical care, patient guidance, and academic programs. The breach raises serious concerns about the security of sensitive patient and institutional information.

The seller, whose motives remain unknown, has listed the data for sale on a hacking forum. The database is advertised as containing 7.6 GB of data, encompassing over 33,000 files. The actor has set a price of $250 for the entire dataset and has provided contact information on secure messaging platforms for potential buyers.
