The Kairos ransomware group claims to have breached NurtureCare, a Northern Virginia-based company that provides independent caregivers for elderly care services. The group has listed the company on its data leak site, threatening to publish the stolen information.
According to the actor, 192GB of data was exfiltrated during the cyberattack. The allegedly compromised data includes a significant amount of sensitive personal information belonging to both clients and employees. The evidence posted by the group includes:
- Full names
- Dates of birth
- Social Security Numbers (SSN)
- Driver’s licenses
- Passports
- Employee records
