Official Chinese Enterprise Services Website for Foshan Allegedly Hacked

An official Chinese government website for enterprise services in the city of Foshan has allegedly been breached by a group of hackers. The targeted website, fsgsw.com.cn, was defaced, and sensitive data was reportedly exfiltrated during the attack. The city of Foshan is a major manufacturing hub in Guangdong province, China. The compromised website appears to serve as a portal for businesses operating in the region.

The threat actors, claimed responsibility for the cyberattack. Evidence of the breach was shared online, showing the website’s homepage replaced with a defacement message. Screenshots of the allegedly stolen data were also circulated, indicating a significant information leak. The compromised data allegedly includes:

  • User credentials with emails and hashed passwords
  • Website authentication keys and salts

The incident highlights the ongoing cyber threats targeting government-affiliated entities and the potential exposure of sensitive business and user information.
