Part 3: A Threat Actor Claims to Release More Ticketmaster Tickets, Comprising 10 Million Mail and E-ticket

A threat actor has claimed to have breached Ticketmaster, allegedly compromising 10 million Mail and E-ticket event barcodes for various high-profile events. This follows an earlier leak involving Taylor Swift’s online barcodes, which prompted a response from Ticketmaster asserting the security of their SafeTix technology.

The threat actor has provided a list of events and artists, including Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, and Justin Timberlake, among others, claiming that the barcodes for these tickets cannot be refreshed and urging users to print their tickets at home using a provided guide. The demand includes a ransom of $1 million to prevent further data leaks.

Additional Details

The attacker has listed top events affected, with a substantial number of tickets claimed to be compromised for major concerts and tours, including:

  • Taylor Swift: 175k tickets
  • Jennifer Lopez: 143k tickets
  • Justin Timberlake: 205k tickets
  • Morgan Wallen: 350k tickets
  • Foo Fighters: 320k tickets

Ticketmaster has yet to confirm or deny the validity of these claims. The attacker is threatening to release further data if the ransom is not paid, urging Ticketmaster to act to protect their customers’ information.
