People’s CyberArmy Groups Allegedly DDoS Attacks on Metro Madrid and Avanza Websites

People’s CyberArmy, in conjunction with other Russian hacker collectives, has allegedly a string of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks targeting Spanish websites. Notably, these attacks have honed in on critical entities within Spain, including the Madrid Metro. Among the specific websites targeted are metromadrid.es and estacionsurmadrid.avanzagrupo.com. These attacks underscore the growing threat of cyber warfare and the potential vulnerabilities faced by institutions responsible for national security.

Metro Madrid and Avanza are two transportation companies based in Spain. Metro Madrid operates the city’s subway system, providing essential transportation services to residents and visitors. Avanza, on the other hand, offers urban and interurban bus transportation, as well as railway operations, catering to commuters and travelers across different regions of Spain.
