The Killsec ransomware group claims to have breached Global Go, a prominent financial company in Peru specializing in motorcycle financing. The company, which describes itself as a leader in its sector, has been added to the cybercriminal group’s dark web data leak site.
According to its website, Global Go S.A.C. was founded to “democratize access to motorcycles in Peru,” offering a fully digital process to provide financing for customers seeking a vehicle for work or personal use. The listing on the leak site suggests that a ransom demand was not paid.
According to the evidence posted by the threat actor, the breach involves a significant amount of sensitive customer and corporate information. The data allegedly exfiltrated during the attack includes:
- Full names, addresses, and national ID numbers (DNI).
- Scans of notarized legal documents containing authenticated signatures.
- Detailed loan amortization schedules and customer financial agreements.
- Internal financial records and distributor information, including bank account details.
