According to the alleged conversations, the agreement between the parties involves a $35,000 payment by Play Ransomware for tools from LockBit. Additionally, LockBit will offer its knowledge and methods to improve Play Ransomware’s operational effectiveness and reach.
According to the messages, we see a positive and cooperative approach from both parties. Play Ransomware is pleased with the collaboration and has highlighted the possible advantages and improvements that can be achieved.
As of now, there have been no announcements or updates from the LockBit ransomware group regarding the alleged cooperation with the Play Ransomware group.
