The Qilin ransomware group has allegedly added Aggressive Air Compressor & Co., a US-based industrial equipment supplier, to its list of victims. In a dark web post dated August 3, 2025, the group claimed to have exfiltrated 74 GB of data from the Michigan company, which specializes in the sale and service of air compressors. The operators have threatened to release the data publicly if their demands are not met within a 10-day period, putting significant pressure on the firm.
To substantiate their claims, the threat actors allegedly leaked a cache of files as proof of the breach. The sample data suggests a deep compromise of the company’s network and purportedly includes a wide range of sensitive information. The compromised data allegedly contains:
- Corporate financial records and internal invoices
- Employee and customer contact lists
- Scanned personal identification documents, including driver’s licenses
- Human resources and insurance-related documents
