Qilin Ransomware Group Attack Hits Multiple Global Companies

The Qilin ransomware group claims to have breached multiple organizations across the globe. The latest list of alleged victims posted by the group includes:

  • Santa Paula (πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ): The local government for the City of Santa Paula, California.

  • WLR Precision Engineering (πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§): A UK-based precision engineering firm specializing in CNC machining.

  • The American School Foundation (πŸ‡²πŸ‡½): An independent international school based in Mexico City.

  • St. Johns River Water Management District (πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ): A Florida state government agency responsible for environmental protection and water resources.

  • Trolec (πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦): A Quebec-based manufacturer specializing in dampers, louvers, and building materials.

  • Arabia Holding (πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¬): A major real estate development holding company based in Egypt.

According to the actor, the compromised data includes distinct file sets for the victims. The group’s leak site specifies the following volumes for select victims:

  • 261 GB of data from the St. Johns River Water Management District.

  • 66 GB of data from Trolec.

  • Internal documents and proprietary files.
