The Sarcoma ransomware group has allegedly targeted Inox Laghi, an Italian company specializing in the supply of stainless steel products for major industrial sectors. Based in Solbiate Arno, Italy, Inox Laghi is a key player in providing technical items for industries including chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and energy. The company, which handles international trade, now faces a serious data breach claim.
The group announced a data leak of a 384 GB archive, which they claim contains a variety of sensitive information. The leaked data allegedly includes financial documents, business correspondence, and personal information, such as what appears to be passport scans of individuals. The presence of financial data like accounts, balances, and contracts with other companies, such as Spanish-based Cunado sau and Italian Beccaceci, suggests a significant compromise of the company’s operational and financial records.
The leaked data titles allegedly include:
- Files
- SQL
- Exchange
