SiegedSec Claims Claims to Major Cyberattack on Amplify AI, Revealing High-Profile Clients

The hacker group SiegedSec has claimed responsibility for a cyberattack on Amplify AI, an AI-driven conversational service utilized by major social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WhatsApp. In a statement, the group announced they had gained access to the company’s source code and administrator portal, revealing several high-profile clients.

Among the most notable clients reportedly affected by this breach are President Joe Biden, ActBlue, Sony Entertainment, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Universal Pictures, along with many others. The hackers disclosed that their access allowed them to view sensitive information, including social media account metrics and access keys. They even noted that President Joe Biden had 27,000 Facebook direct messages.

SiegedSec emphasized that this attack, despite impacting a political figure, does not reflect any political affiliation or support for politicians on their part. They stated, “We do not support politicians.”

The group has purportedly leaked all the client information and the company’s source code, including a complete list of all the clients. This claim raises serious concerns about data security and privacy for the affected parties. As of now, there has been no official response from Amplify AI or the impacted clients regarding the alleged breach.
