SiegedSec Launches “Seven Days of Siege” with Attack on Israeli IT Company

In a recent announcement, the hacking group SiegedSec declared the start of their campaign titled “Seven Days of Siege”, which promises to release a series of hacks over a week. The group apologized for their recent inactivity, attributing it to the preparation of multiple hacks that are set to be unveiled daily.

Day 1: Attack on Impact Networks

The first target in this series is Impact Networks, an IT solutions company based in Israel. SiegedSec claimed they accessed an admin portal and subsequently disrupted various networks managed by the company. This attack is part of their ongoing campaign, OpIsrael, which aims to target Israeli institutions.

In their statement, SiegedSec provided a brief, poetic reflection on their hacking journey, emphasizing their long-standing affinity for digital infiltration:

“I remember when it all started, something from a dream
Addicted to the black and green letters on my screen
Quicker than my peers, so inherent what it means”

Networks Affected

SiegedSec listed several high-profile networks in Israel that were affected by their attack, including:

  • Finland Embassy
  • Xtend Defense Systems
  • Jewish Agency For Israel
  • Ben Gurion University
  • Blumberg Capital
  • BrightSource Energy
  • Merkaz Klita Absorption Centers
  • Oxford Tower

The group mentioned that a full list of all impacted networks is available via a provided link.
