The notorious ransomware group known as “Snatch” has resurfaced with a vengeance, targeting the French IT services company Neovia. Тhe group revealed that they have obtained and leaked a significant amount of data from Neovia. Despite previous warnings issued by the group in October 2023, indicating the vulnerability of Neovia’s systems, the company has failed to fortify its security measures effectively. As a result, Snatch claims to have accessed and extracted approximately 1 TB of sensitive information, further exposing Neovia’s inadequate defenses.
In a chilling twist, Snatch has hinted at the imminent release of data pertaining to French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin, adding another layer of complexity to the unfolding cybersecurity crisis.
