A dark web forum post has surfaced, allegedly offering a fresh database containing 2 million credit card records. The threat actor claims the data includes sensitive financial and personal details such as names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and banking information.
According to the post, the dataset was acquired on March 18, 2025, and is being marketed as an “exclusive” offer. A sample of the leaked records, which includes full names, home addresses, IP addresses, and net income details, was shared in the forum to entice potential buyers.
The sheer volume of the alleged breach raises concerns about the security of financial institutions and credit card platforms.
