In a recent post on a dark web forum, a threat actor has claimed to have access to insiders within T-Mobile. According to the message, the individual or group is offering to facilitate SIM swaps for a price of $4,500, asserting that their contacts can provide critical authentication information.
The post suggests that the alleged insiders can help bypass two-factor authentication (2FA) protections. The threat actor also specifies that they do not require extensive details about the target, only a name, address, and phone number. They claim to accept transactions through an escrow service or a known middleman.
