Threat Actor Claims to Sell OpenSea Database for $30,000

A threat actor has announced that they are selling a database allegedly obtained from OpenSea (OpenSea.io), the world’s first and largest web3 marketplace for NFTs and crypto collectibles.

Database Details:
The threat actor claims the database includes approximately 300,000 lines of data.

Price: $30,000 (firm, no negotiation).
Partial Sales: Partial lines of the list are available for purchase, with prices negotiable depending on the number of lines desired.
Guarantor: A guarantor is accepted for the transaction to ensure security for both parties.

Announcement Highlights:
The threat actor emphasizes the following points in their announcement:

The database purportedly comes from OpenSea, a major player in the web3 and NFT marketplace sector.
The actor insists on a firm price of $30,000 for the full database but is open to negotiating the price for partial datasets.
They are willing to work with a guarantor to facilitate the sale.

Potential Impact:
If the claims are true, the sale of this database could have significant implications for OpenSea and its users, potentially exposing sensitive information and undermining user trust in the platform’s security measures.
