Wisanka Indonesia (PT. Wirasindo Santakarya), a prominent furniture manufacturer and exporter established in 1993, has allegedly been compromised. Wisanka is a significant player in the Indonesian wood industry, operating multiple factories across Central and West Java and exporting wooden, synthetic, and natural furniture to global markets, including hotels, villas, and wholesalers. The company holds key legal certifications such as SVLK and FSC and reportedly ships several containers monthly.
The breach reportedly involves a dataset of approximately 27 GB containing over 88,000 files. The actor claims the data is “fully internal and operational,” offering insights into the company’s supply chain, pricing strategies, and proprietary designs, which they suggest would be useful for competitors or industry researchers.
According to the actor, the allegedly compromised data includes:
-
Technical Product Designs: Detailed PDFs of furniture from the BATIK and VEDIC series (beds, dining tables, chairs, cabinets, TV stands) suitable for reproduction.
-
Financial & Export Documents (2019-2020): Invoices and packing lists detailing transactions with Japanese customers, including prices and order volumes.
-
Certification Reports: SVLK reports from 2023, along with wooden panel lists and tally sheets.
-
Supply Chain Data: Internal wood purchase files, sawmill invoices, and transport notes dating up to 2024.
-
Raw Material Records: Purchase details for raw materials like planks and logs.
