Xiamen Tungsten Co. Data Breach by Beast Ransomware

The Beast ransomware group claims to have breached Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd. (XTC), a major Chinese manufacturer and supplier of tungsten and battery materials with a market capitalization of $13.56 billion. The threat actor is allegedly offering the company’s full infrastructure dump for sale on a hacker forum for 20 Bitcoin, claiming to have full access.

According to the actor, the dataset exceeds 150GB of SQL backup files covering extensive corporate and manufacturing systems. The allegedly compromised data includes:

  • Full Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and payroll data for the entire workforce

  • Geological surveys, mine mapping, and environmental resource monitoring

  • Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials and network access tokens

  • ERP system blueprints, business logic, and financial structures

  • Lab chemical formulas and alloy recipes

  • Board meeting materials and executive decision-making records

  • Communist Party Committee records and political leadership files

  • Commercial bids and tungsten market price quotes

  • Manufacturing execution data and quality control logs
