A threat actor on a dark web forum has claimed to have breached the popular ultra-Orthodox Jewish podcast platform, Doscast (doscast.co.il). The platform, known for providing a wide range of content and in collaboration with prominent figures in the ultra-Orthodox community, is alleged to have suffered a data breach affecting over 100,000 users.
According to the post, the database purportedly contains three million lines of sensitive information. The threat actor also included a sample from the alleged leak. According to the sample image, the alleged leak contains personal information.
Doscast, which serves as a central hub for the ultra-Orthodox public seeking enriching and high-quality audio content, could face significant ramifications if these allegations are verified. The platform is celebrated for curating content tailored to a religious audience, providing a respectable space for discussions on key social issues, personal enrichment, and leisure listening.
