The Akira ransomware group claims to have breached a new list of corporate victims from various sectors, including aviation, construction, and manufacturing. The threat actor has added 11 new companies to its data leak site, threatening to release sensitive information if its ransom demands are not met.
The latest list of alleged victims posted by the group includes:
- Priester Aviation (🇺🇸): A prominent provider of aircraft management and private jet charter services based in the United States.
- Burke Contracting (🇺🇸): A US-based company offering design-build, general construction, and construction management services.
- Sueba USA (🇺🇸): A real estate development firm specializing in luxury residential and commercial properties in the US.
- Apex CoVantage (🇺🇸): A company that provides data conversion, prepress, and content enhancement services to publishers and libraries worldwide.
- Midwest Industries Inc (🇺🇸): A US-based manufacturer of boats, including fishing boats, cruisers, and pontoons.
- Von Paris Moving (🇺🇸): A moving and storage company operating in the United States.
- Tom Duffy Company (🇺🇸): A US company specializing in floor covering supplies and installation services.
- Pawling (🇺🇸): A US provider of architectural products, including impact protection systems and specialty doors.
- Sinco (🇺🇸): A certified US company specializing in sheet metal fabrication services.
- Turf Care Store (🇨🇦): A Canadian company that provides products and services to golf courses, municipalities, and professional contractors.
- Bugnard (🇨🇭): A Swiss market leader for equipment used in the installation of electrical and telecommunication networks.
According to the actor, the allegedly compromised data varies between victims but includes a wide range of sensitive corporate and personal information. The types of data threatened for release include:
- Full names, dates of birth, addresses, emails, and phone numbers
- Social Security Numbers (SSNs)
- Passport and driver’s license details
- W-9 forms and other tax documents
- Employee and customer personal information
