In a recent dark web post, an alleged data breach involving PT Bosowa Berlian Motor has been claimed by a threat actor. The automotive company, which is one of the largest Mitsubishi Motors and FUSO dealers in eastern Indonesia, is said to have suffered a significant data compromise.
According to the post, the alleged breach includes both the company’s database and website source code. The exposed files reportedly amount to over 5 GB of data, consisting of SQL database files and compressed source code. The post claims that a total of 414 tables are included in the database leak.
Bosowa Berlian Motor, a key subsidiary of Bosowa Corporation, has a vast network of over 30 branches across eastern Indonesia, offering sales, service, and spare parts for Mitsubishi vehicles. The company, which traces its origins back to 1973, plays a crucial role in the country’s automotive industry.
