DragonForce Hits Edward J Kone, Leger & Shaw, GPC Industries

The DragonForce ransomware group claims to have breached multiple organizations, listing them on their data leak site with a threat to publish exfiltrated files. The actors have posted descriptions and data volumes for each targeted entity, signaling a multi-sector attack. The latest list of alleged victims posted by the group includes:

  • Edward J. Kone, P.A. (🇺🇸): A Florida-based law firm specializing in criminal defense, traffic violations, and personal injury cases, serving clients in Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, and Broward Counties.

  • Leger & Shaw (🇺🇸): A New Orleans-based law firm established in 1979 that specializes in maritime and admiralty law, class actions, and complex commercial litigation.

  • GPC Industries (🇬🇧): A leading trade supplier based in Lincolnshire, UK, providing high-quality access, handling, and storage products like ladders and trolleys.

According to the actor, a significant volume of data was exfiltrated from the victims, totaling over 1.4 terabytes. While specific file types were not detailed in the initial leak post, the group specified the following data sizes for each victim:

  • Edward J. Kone, P.A.: 398.88 GB

  • Leger & Shaw: 763.74 GB

  • GPC Industries: 313.61 GB
