Handala Hack Breaches Sanzer Hasidic & Atlas Insurances Ltd

The Handala Hack group claims to have breached two Israeli organizations, allegedly exfiltrating over two terabytes of combined data and completely wiping the victims’ servers. The group, known for its politically motivated cyber operations against Israeli targets, released statements detailing the specific compromises and threatening further data leaks.

The latest list of alleged victims posted by the group includes:

  • Sanzer Hasidic community (🇮🇱): An Orthodox Jewish community based in Israel, which the attackers claim received substantial financial backing.

  • Atlas Insurances Ltd (🇮🇱): An Israeli marine insurance company that has historically acted as a primary insurer for maritime fleets and strategic shipments.

The allegedly compromised data includes:

  • Over 1.379 terabytes of data from Atlas Insurances Ltd

  • Insurance documents related to ships, cargo, and marine equipment

  • Sensitive contracts tied to maritime operations

  • Over 851 gigabytes of confidential data from the Sanzer Hasidic community

  • Documents of financial cooperation

  • Internal correspondences and secret communications
