According to a statement released by the company, the breach exposed data from a segment of its clientele. “We have identified that some data of a group of clients has been exposed by a third party without our authorization,” the company disclosed, underscoring the severity of the incident.
Interbank has responded by implementing heightened security measures aimed at safeguarding the bank’s operations and customer data from further unauthorized access. “In light of this situation, we immediately deployed additional security measures to protect the operations and information of our clients,” the bank added, affirming its commitment to data privacy amid rising cybersecurity threats in the financial sector.
