Korea Construction Safety Association Data Breach Exposes Member PII

The Korea Construction Safety Association (KoCSa), an organization dedicated to safety management and technical guidance in the construction sector, has allegedly been compromised. Sensitive database records belonging to the organization appeared on a hacking forum. The leak targets the domain ekocosa.co.kr and appears to impact members, including safety experts and construction professionals.

The allegedly compromised data contains detailed Personally Identifiable Information (PII) regarding the association’s members. Based on the samples provided, the leaked information includes:

  • Member IDs and Usernames

  • Encrypted passwords

  • Full legal names

  • Resident Registration Numbers (First 6 digits/Birthdate)

  • Email addresses

  • Mobile and home phone numbers

  • Home and company physical addresses

  • Company affiliations and job titles
