Lynx Attack Hits Powers Miller, Goff Backa Alfera, 123LUMPSUM

The Lynx ransomware group claims to have breached three distinct organizations operating across the legal, financial, and accounting sectors. The latest list of alleged victims posted by the group includes:

  • Powers Miller Attorneys At Law (🇺🇸): A civil litigation firm based in Northern California specializing in liability cases and insurance defense.

  • GOFF BACKA ALFERA & COMPANY, LLC (🇺🇸): A full-service public accounting and consulting firm providing services locally, nationally, and internationally.

  • Structured Asset Funding and 123LUMPSUM (🇺🇸): Specialty finance companies located in Hallandale Beach, Florida, specializing in purchasing structured settlement payments and insurance annuities.

The allegedly compromised data includes:

  • Confidential legal and court documents

  • Engineering and material analysis reports

  • Client tax forms and income tax returns

  • Payroll records and employee information

  • Corporate correspondence and financial data
