Lynx Ransomware Attack Hits Multiple Global Companies Including Government Agency

The Lynx ransomware group claims to have breached a new list of victims, publishing their details on its dark web leak site. The latest list of alleged victims posted by the group includes:

  • South West Development Commission (🇦🇺): A statutory authority of the Western Australian government focused on economic development and diversification in the South West region.

  • Laurysen Kitchens (🇨🇦): An Ottawa-based leading provider of high-quality kitchen cabinets and custom cabinetry.

  • Salcom (🇳🇿): A Christchurch-based manufacturer specializing in wireless solutions, whose name stands for Sea, Air, and Land Communication.

  • Groupecho Canada (🇨🇦): A Montreal-based firm offering credit reports, debt recovery, and risk management services.

  • Hartford (🇫🇷): A Paris-based fashion brand specializing in high-end casual clothing for men, women, and children.

  • Wild Bunch Distribution (🇫🇷): A prominent pan-European media and entertainment company based in Paris, involved in film distribution.

  • Braemac (🇦🇺): A Sydney-headquartered electronics component distributor founded in 1986.

  • City of Milton, Florida (🇺🇸): The municipal government for the city of Milton (miltonfl.org), located in Santa Rosa County.

  • Kidds Restoration Services (🇺🇸): A family-owned restoration company based in Lynchburg, Virginia.

  • Madison Area YMCA (🇺🇸): A community service organization offering youth programs in New Jersey.
