A threat actor claims to have leaked a massive collection of payroll databases belonging to the Government of Venezuela. The leak reportedly encompasses 31 strategic state institutions, primarily focusing on security, administration, and the oil sector. The compromised entities include Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA), the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), the Scientific, Penal, and Criminal Investigation Service Corps (CICPC), and the Office of the Presidency. The actor states that this data is being released at no cost and represents the largest single exposure of active Venezuelan government payrolls to date.
According to the actor, the leak contains unredacted “nóminas” (payroll records) identifying high-profile figures including President Nicolás Maduro and other senior officials. The allegedly compromised data includes:
-
Full names
-
National ID numbers (cédulas)
