An Israeli B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, MIS.co.il, has allegedly suffered a significant data breach, resulting in the exposure of sensitive personal information. According to a post on a popular hacking forum, a threat actor has leaked a database containing the records of over 2,000 individuals. MIS.co.il provides research and management software services to other businesses, making the potential exposure of client and user data a serious concern.
The threat actor claims the leaked data, dated July 2, 2025, was exfiltrated directly from the company’s systems. The dump, approximately 530KB in size, is said to contain a combination of personal identification details and user credentials. The potential impact on the individuals whose data has been compromised is substantial, as the information could be used for identity theft, phishing attacks, and other malicious activities.
The compromised data allegedly includes a wide range of sensitive information:
- Personal data: Full names, Israeli ID card numbers, father/mother names, and birthdays.
- User credentials: Usernames, email addresses, passwords, and IP addresses.
- Internal information: Message history, internal links, and IP traceback data.
